How can I prevent moisture in laundry powder/soap detergent box or container?
My boxes of laundry soap are stored in a closet inside my utility room. Somehow, they tend to get some moisture in them and the soap powder forms big lumps. The soap still works but it is hard to measure. I have tried pouring the powder into a plastic container but I still had the same results. Thanks for any suggestions!
I would try the plastic container again, but get one that is air-tight. The enemy here is humidity. The same thing happens to my powdered detergent…I just break up the clumps and go on about my business.
You might try one of the containers especially designed for coffee, cereal, flour or some other pantry good that needs airtight protection.
