Where do you find the door ajar sensor on a 2002 Dodge Neon?
Door ajar chime and dome light stay on continuously.
on that one it should be part of the door latch assembly you have to remove the door panel to get to that one,good luck.

Can I bypass the door alarm sensor 1998 Volkswagon Jetta?
When I unlock the door and open, it the alarm goes off and the car will not start unless I put the key in the door lock and turn it to left and hold it.
I checked the wires between the door and the chassis and insulation was damaged, but all intact. Is there any way to bypass the door lock? There is a three wire pin that goes to the door sensor. Can I short two wires together and still start the car.
Do this and you may ruin the electrics.
