Keyless entry for apartments?
I live in an apartment and i want to hook up a keyless entry system. I seen door knobs you can have to replace the current door knobs, but i want a system that uses my exsiting door knobs and just attaches. If this exists id like be gratful for a link. Or if anyone has any ideas how to make one i would like the guidence!
I was thinking about have a small motor set up so it would just the latch from the inside, i just dont know how to approach something like that.
I was checking this out not too long ago. I like the Kwikset SmartScan Biometric deadbolt. You still use your regular door knob. If you’ve already got a deadbolt, swap it out for this one. If you don’t, just easily add it. Here’s a youtube vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6p7Kjapbu84
