This phenomenon is called bioluminescence, it is caused by symbiotic bacteria and it has adapted to a number of purposes, for example, the anglerfish uses a light attached to a modified fin to attract its prey and others like the flashlight fish use it to escape enemies, they flash the lights on and off to confuse predators.

Ovulation Question? Need Help?
Hi all… I had a MMC in june this year and since have been TTC. I never really knew my body and i was on the Pill so i never noticed much but now im TTC im paying more attention to my body.
I noticed last month i ovulated on CD13 and from then till CD27 which is when i got my AF i had cramps in my left side, sore boobs and nipples and general pregnancy like symptoms. Well i got my period and knew it was not to be. This mont we didnt have any intercourse around the times of ovulation. And i am having the exact sae pains etc only this month and deep apologies for TMI..im not very regular on the toilet since OV i have been daily at least once. same cramps same pains, same dischargesd etc… Being on the pill i guess i never knew what ovulation was…. Any dea why im like this… Is it normal. Will it affect my fertility
